When you’re stepping into end-of-life practice, the tools and templates matter—but what matters most is the guide who walks beside you. That’s where Debra White comes in.

Debra is the creator and lead mentor for Vision to Venture, Willow’s business course for end-of-life practitioners. With more than 25 years of experience in learning and development, she brings the rare mix of compassion, accountability, and practical wisdom that helps you move from calling to sustainable practice.

A High-Performance Coach With Proven Experience

Before turning her career toward end-of-life work, Debra was a Senior Coach Trainer and Program Developer at Weight Watchers, where she trained and mentored thousands of coaches and created programs that supported people through meaningful life changes.

She now brings that same expertise to the end-of-life field, combining professional coaching skills with grief counseling and her role as a licensed Willow End-of-Life Educator®.

Her approach is grounded, heart-centered, and practical: helping practitioners find clarity, structure, and confidence without losing sight of the sacred nature of this work.

Compassion + Accountability

Debra’s superpower is compassion. She has a gift for seeing you clearly, honoring your unique path, and creating safe space for your feelings. But she also knows that growth requires movement—and that’s where accountability comes in.

She gently but firmly helps you take the next step forward, even when it feels hard. With Debra’s guidance, you’re never left spinning in theory. You leave with clarity, direction, and action.

The Flashlight and the Ladder

Debra often says her role is to bring both a flashlight and a ladder.

  • The flashlight helps you see what’s in your way—and then supports you in moving through it and beyond it.

  • The ladder allows her to meet you exactly where you are—whether that means climbing up to your next opportunity or going deeper into the work that needs tending.

This combination of clarity and support is what makes Vision to Venture more than just a business course. It’s a guided journey.

Personal Coaching Support

As part of the program, you’ll also have access to up to six, 30-minute one-on-one coaching sessions with Debra or Reena. These sessions give you tailored support, accountability, and encouragement to apply what you’re learning directly to your own practice.

That’s in addition to the 10 modules, live mentoring, community inside The Grove, and step-by-step structure to help you create a practice that’s both meaningful and sustainable.

Why This Matters

For many end-of-life practitioners, the challenge isn’t passion—it’s clarity, language, and structure. Debra’s presence in Vision to Venture means you’ll have a mentor who not only understands the emotional depth of this work, but also knows how to guide you in the practical steps of building a thriving practice.

If you’re ready to take your calling seriously, you don’t have to do it alone.
